Monitoring water flow, quality in adjacent southern Minnesota watersheds
Gary Feyereisen is a research agricultural engineer with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service. In this episode of the Minnesota Corn Podcast, he discusses his research project that aims to measure how conservation practices impact water quality and flow on farmland. The project plans to compare the impact of conservation practices in adjacent southern Minnesota watersheds in which over 90% of the land is in a corn-soybean rotation.
